Bence is a freelance theatre director based in London. He trained in Hungary and the UK and holds an MA in Directing from the University of Kent. He is Co-Founder of Éternels Vagabonds (www.eternelsvagabonds.com), an international theatre company focusing on contemporary Eastern European and Israeli drama. He is a member of the Genesis Directors Network and Stage Directors UK.
4th September 2017 Introduction to Opera Directing Introduction course focusing on directing singers and working with music, led by renowned directors (e.g.: Amy Lane, Gerard Jones) and singers (e.g.: Susan Bullock CBE) organised by the Royal Opera House and Young Vic. September 2015 École Nomade – short course with Ariane Mnouchkine and Le Théâtre du Soleil Training in the basic principles of Le Théâtre du Soleil, including working with mask (commedia dell’arte and Balinese Topeng masks) and improvisation to music. 2012-2014 Tutti Cantabile a capella vocal ensemble Training in singing (genres: renaissance, baroque, romantic, jazz, folk, popular, modern & classical) and choral singing (bass and baritone), voice-production training. For the production Festino studied the basic characteristics of the commedia dell’arte characters.
