Little Shop Of Horrors
Little Shop of Horrors is a 1950s sci-fi spoof musical with a hilarious and fearsome plot and a collection of great songs – and lots of foliage!
The musical score, 1960s rock ‘n’ roll and early Motown, is by Alan Menken, an Oscar-winning composer known for a string of Disney film scores which include The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.
Seymour Krelborn is a struggling assistant in Mushnik’s Florists, with a secret passion for his colleague Audrey. When he brings in an exotic plant its unique qualities bring him instant fame. Will Audrey love him now?
But the plant’s sinister and murderous feeding habits become more and more demanding. Just how far will Seymour go to satisfy it and make his romantic dreams come true?
Seymour’s frantic attempts to bring the situation under control are disastrous and the florists truly becomes a Shop of Horrors, with a threat of world domination!!!
Little Shop of Horrors is a feel-good musical treat, guaranteed to entertain from start to finish.
